How
can a person be a great sweeper if that person doesn't have
the right tools?
That's
where you come in! Help people to become a "sweeping
artist" by helping people select the cleaning product
that will work best for them and then selling them the highest
grade hand-held-cleaning tools on the market.
Who
is the customer?
This is the fun part. Anyone who’s
in the business of selling things to people knows that the
most important thing is to have a large customer base. More
people buy cars than hot air balloons. So it’s easier
to sell them. The more people are likely to use your products,
the more likely you are to make a sale. This is why the Harper
program works so well. Our customers only need two things
to qualify them. They have to have a door, so you can go in
and see them. And they have to have a floor. We tend to look
at a floor not as something that we stand on, but something
that has to be swept regularly.
What’s so exciting about sweeping floors? The answer
is, of course, nothing at all. So if you can help people spend
less time sweeping, you’ve got yourself a customer.
Do it consistently, and you have a customer for life.
What’s a customer for life? A person who will provide
you with consistent income with very little work on your part.
